It also became somewhat synonymous with the Apple brand name, so the iPod came out.  What also helped the iPod really be an Internet device was downloadable iTunes.
While the iPhone is also Internet capable, it&#039;s no realy big distinction since that applies to most other cell phones, too.  Still, i-Phone drew a huge audience almost solely on the Apple image.
